Yunus Aktas, born in Barneveld as the son of Turkish guest workers, won all the prizes at the Cameretten Festival in 2022. Since his debut he has been conquering bigger and bigger auditoriums with his dry humor and perfect timing.

In his first solo show Never Mind, Yunus flawlessly plays with the expectations of his audience. He relies completely on his understated tone, sharp observations and timing. Why that title? Simple: because Yunus believes that the title of a show doesn't matter.

The coziest family activity of the year!

On Saturday, February 28, the forest will once again be beautifully illuminated for the big winter festival!

This year there’s a new setup!
The animals are preparing for the big winter festival, but oh no! Some of their belongings have gone missing! At the start, participants receive a bingo card to help them search for the animals’ important items along the way. Children bring their own lanterns and set off into the dimly lit forest. The lights along the route guide the way, and the flickering candles create a magical, fairytale-like atmosphere.

Halfway through the walk, you can warm up by the campfire and enjoy some tasty (hot) drinks.
Have you found all the animals’ items? Then, at the end, you get to roast a delicious sausage bun over the campfire.

Get up early to enjoy the morning light shining through the trees. Guided by an IVN guide, you’ll walk for about 1.5 hours through the beautiful forests around the ’t Soerel estate and finish with the Early Birds breakfast.

The walk with breakfast includes a croissant with butter and jam, sourdough bread with ham or cheese, a boiled egg, yogurt with granola, and fresh orange juice (optionally, for an extra charge, you can add sourdough bread with salmon, available to order on site).

We start with a guided warm-up and a gentle breathing exercise specifically designed for cold water, preparing your body and mind for the experience. Then, together, we step into the clear water and feel the refreshing sensation of a dip in the lake. After the dip, we finish with a relaxing exercise to warm up and bring your attention back to your body.

Cold-water experiences are becoming increasingly popular because they are surprisingly invigorating, but they require courage and mindfulness. This experience is perfect for anyone who is curious, enjoys stepping outside their comfort zone, and wants to discover what a natural dip can do for them.

The contribution is €10 per person (parking fees not included). The dip experience lasts about 1 hour and accommodates 6 to 10 participants.

This activity is guided by Nathalie, a nature coach at Puur in de Natuur. Since 2023, she has been taking weekly dips in Zandenplas, so she knows exactly how to safely and mindfully enjoy the experience. Her guidance is supportive and approachable, allowing you to fully enjoy the dip with confidence and awareness.

The Elspeterheide sheep flock invites everyone to come and admire—and pet—the lambs and their proud mothers. There will be snacks and drinks, and cute plush sheep will also be available for purchase.

They go miniature golfing and want to go sailing in their sailboat when disaster strikes: the boat accidentally sails away without anyone in it. Ernst and Bobbie go after the boat and then end up in a hilarious adventure that ends in Czech Gletschûh Witschûh. They also encounter a popular YouTube duo "Gertjûh and Bertjûh" along the way. And will this all end well? Come and see in the latest and most hilarious theater show of the duo. All the duo's hits will of course pass by. It will be a party for young and old.

It is the most personal story of the creators behind Ernst and Bobbie. Secretly the children in the audience will learn about the difference what is real and not real on YouTube and social media.

This fourteenth edition of the market, as usual, takes place in the charming Elburg Fortress, the harbor, and the Loswal. There is a wide variety of market stalls offering something for everyone, from artisanal products to unique bargains. Several food trucks will also be present, serving a range of international dishes.

In addition to the regular market, there is, as tradition, a flea market where children can sell their items. This takes place on Bas Backerlaan (between Jufferenstraat and Bloemstraat) and on Bloemstraat. On Bloemstraat, vendors may set up on both sides of the street, as long as at least four meters are kept clear for emergency services.

Come and enjoy browsing and strolling through the city center and along the picturesque harbor with the whole family.

This large-scale winter event returns to Biddinghuizen with the theme ‘Let’s go to the movies.’ Over 45 international artists will transform 300,000 kilos of ice and 275,000 kilos of snow into sculptures of famous movie scenes, ranging from Titanic to Alice in Wonderland. The festival is open daily, with time slots needing to be reserved in advance.
