What to do on departure.

• Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
• Please leave the accommodation tidy.
• Make sure the dishes are clean and put back in the right place.
• Take the garbage to the environmental center.

Arrival
Upon arrival, we ask that you check in at the reception desk. Check-in is possible from 4 p.m. onwards. Please ensure that any lodgers are also registered. In case of emergencies we would like to know exactly who is staying at the park.

An early check in can be booked at the reception if available. If you arrive outside reception opening hours, please let reception know in advance.

Car
A maximum of 1 car may be parked at your chalet. Any other cars can be parked in the parking lot at the entrance to the resort. Maximum permitted speed is 10 km per hour (walking pace). If this rule is violated, your barrier card will be blocked.

Waste
We would like to ask you to collect garbage and bring it to the garbage area. This can be found at the letter U on the map. Empty batteries may be handed in at the reception.

Barrier
Because of the night's rest, the barrier is closed for entry from 23.00 to 07.00. Exit is possible at any time.
In case of emergency, the barriers can be opened.

Peace and quiet in the park
Each guest respects the privacy and tranquility of the other guests. In case of nuisance, access to the
resort can be denied. The sound of equipment must not be audible outside the accommodation.

Open fire
For fire safety reasons, open fire in and outside the accommodation is strictly prohibited. If you are going to barbecue, please take appropriate safety precautions. The use of an electric barbecue is our preference.

Liability
We are not liable for damage, theft, loss, injury or accident occurring during your stay at Resort Veluwemeer.

Swimming in the natural lake
Swimming is only permitted from the beach within the buoyancy lines. You can rent life jackets at the reception.

Fishing
Fishing is permitted from the designated area. It is forbidden to take the fish caught
to take. We therefore expressly request that you put the fish back. You do not need a fishing license to fish on our Resort.

Dogs
Dogs must be leashed and are under no circumstances allowed on the beach, in the water, the playground and in the toilet building. Your dog can be walked in the designated dog walking area at the park (near the letter R on the map). Accidents can happen, but please clean them up. Clean-up bags are available at the poop pole near reception.

We can also use your help in this! You can help us by turning off the lights and setting the thermostat to 10 degrees Celsius when you are absent, watching out for unnecessary water consumption and separating your waste as much as possible.

Our marina has had the blue flag since 2017. The blue flag is an international environmental award, given annually to beaches and marinas. The blue flag is a recognition on the effort our marina makes in the field of environmental and sustainability management, safety, water quality, awareness and education, and waste prevention and sorting.

All of our rental properties meet Greenkey standards. We also have non-rental homes on the park, these are not rated.

No fireworks may be set off on EuroParcs Veluwemeer property at the turn of the year. However, sparklers are allowed. On the public road outside the park, however, it is permitted to set off fireworks.

Yes, the park has fishing facilities and it is allowed to fish at the vacation park. You do not need a fishing pass for this.

The Veluwemeer is a unique location where many water sports can be practiced. In cooperation with Windy Waters (in combination with EuroParcs Bad Hoophuizen) you can follow various activities and lessons or rent equipment. For more information visit the Windy Waterswebsite .

This is only allowed within the float lines. Dogs are not allowed on the beach and in the playground. You can walk the dog in the dog walking area and there is also a small dog beach where they can swim.

We have 2 charging stations in the general parking lot near the entrance.

It is possible to buy fresh rolls from the self-service shopon Saturdays and Sundays .

This is from April 1 to October 31. Beyond that, no boats are allowed. The boat ramp is only open during reception hours. Trailers can be parked in the trailer parking lot.
